A team led by M&A Partner Oliver Blum, head of the M&A and corporate practice of CMS Switzerland, advised Australian-headquartered healthcare group Sonic Healthcare Ltd. in the acquisition of Switzerland's second-largest laboratory group Medisupport. The acquisition will make Sonic, which is already present in Switzerland through the Medica group, number one in the Swiss laboratory market.
Signing took place on Friday, June 12, 2015. Closing is expected for the beginning of July. Part of the consideration will be paid in Sonic shares.
