At CMS, we understand the importance of preserving the environment and taking action to tackle climate change.
With this goal in mind, we strive to decrease our own environmental footprint, both internally in our offices as well as through the way we work and across our supply chains.

Some of the initiatives that we are undertaking across our organisation to make our business operations more sustainable include:
- digitizing our files and using electronic signatures to reduce the use of paper, reducing waste, eliminating the usage of plastic where possible and recycling waste
- optimising our employees’ daily commute and promoting eco-mobility to cut down our carbon footprint (for instance by offering the use of electric bicycles)
- replacing business travel with virtual meetings where possible and compensating for emissions
- using the train for shorter business travel
- working with sustainable suppliers
- raising awareness for sustainability within our organisation
CMS Belgium supports :
Graine de vie
Graine de vie (Seed for Life) offsets the ecological footprint of inhabitants of industrialized countries by planting hundreds of hectares of trees each year in developing countries. They also run local campaigns to raise awareness among the population about the importance of environmental protection.
CMS wants to be CO2 neutral. Therefore, we help Graine de vie plant enough new trees to offset the CO2 emissions emanating from our business travel and from energy consumption in our offices.
