COVID-19: European Commission gives green light for three Belgian schemes involving social security contribution reductions for the travel, hotel and events sectors

On 4 June 2021, the European Commission approved three Belgian aid schemes for the travel, hotel and events sectors in the form of reductions in or exemptions from employers' social contributions for one or two quarters in 2021 depending on the sector. These schemes, subject to several conditions, will be available for undertakings until 31 December 2021.
