The Civil Code Reform will enter into force on 1 January 2023!

Join us on Tuesday 24 January 2023 for the live seminar and breakout-sessions focusing on the new rules that will affect your contracts on a daily basis.

Among other things, we will provide you with Do’s and Don’ts when drafting contract clauses on hardship, precontractual liability or anticipatory breach. We will discuss the new rules on the « Battle of the forms », on the assignment of agreements and on many other Civil Code novelties.

Following the general presentation, you can join one of the breakout-sessions where we will discuss the impact of the new Civil Code in four practice areas:

  • Estate planning
  • Real Estate & Construction
  • Corporate M&A
  • Commercial Contracts

We will close the seminar with a walking dinner to celebrate the New Year.

Please note that the seminar will be in Dutch and French.

Attendees who are members of the Instituut voor Bedrijfsjuristen/Institut des Juristes d’Entreprises will receive 2 points for this training.
