CMS Belgium is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim van Zummeren as Counsel at its Antwerp office, effective 3 March 2025. Kim will lead the Belgian insurance practice, focusing on national and cross-border claims, coverage issues, and litigating on coverage disputes and policy wording.
Kim brings extensive expertise in various areas, including professional indemnity, commercial liability, construction all risks, property, bodily injury, D&O, and financial lines. Her wealth of experience in litigation spans insurance matters, tort law, commercial law, product liability, and large industrial losses.
Kim began her career at CMS, where she developed significant expertise in insurance law and dispute resolution. She then joined an independent Belgian law firm where she continued to specialize in insurance law, before returning to CMS.
