CMS is pleased to announce that Virginie Frémat was appointed as Associate Partner on 1 January 2018.
Virginie, who joined CMS in 2006, has a law degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (2005) and holds a postgraduate degree in business law (Université Libre de Bruxelles).
She has extensive experience in corporate law and specializes in litigation matters. She has built a practice in insurance law (complex litigation, coverage advice and policy drafting), corporate litigation (post M&A litigation, D&O liabity issues and disputes between shareholders) and she regularly advises clients in respect of judicial reorganizations, bankruptcies and acquisitions of companies in difficulty.
