During her studies, she developed a high interest in competition law in the digital age and she wrote her thesis on the impacts of pricing algorithms on collusion.

Her practice includes the preparation and submission of notifications to the European Commission of public interventions, aid schemes (energy, SGEI, etc.) and merger projects, the representation of companies before the European Commission and the Belgian Competition Authority and advising public authorities on the compliance of their actions with applicable European law.

She is particularly active in the telecom and energy sectors.

Marie graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in law from UNamur (2016), a Master’s degree in law from KU Leuven (2018) and an LL.M. in European competition law from the University of Edinburgh (2019).
