Sébastien Willems specialises in European law, with a particular focus on State Aid and Competition law.
His state aid practice covers a wide range of aid schemes. In particular, he assists public entities and undertakings in preparing and submitting notifications of aid schemes to the European Commission.
In the field of competition law, he advises and represents clients before the Belgian and European courts and authorities, particularly in relation to mergers but also cartels (horizontal and vertical agreements).
Sébastien also has experience in Belgian commercial law, particularly in distribution.
