The CMS Funds Group, with the assistance of a few other law firms, has provided an overview of the private placement rules across the EU and other European countries. The Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, which has been implemented as the Alternative Investment Funds Managers Law (AIFMG) in Austria, became effective on 22 July 2013 and has brought significant changes. As some countries are still revising their private placement rules, the Guide will be updated with further editions.
