Borislava is a counsel at CMS Sofia, Head of Renewables, and is a member of the Energy, Projects and Construction team. She is a multi-disciplined professional with experience in many other departments including Banking and International Finance, Corporate, Commercial and Real Estate.

Borislava has considerable experience in complex due diligence reviews for renewable energy clients and advises on successful financing for large photovoltaic power plants in Bulgaria. She is a key expert in terms of wind and solar renewable energy project development in Bulgaria, from the due diligence stage through project acquisition up to project financing and commencing operation. 

Borislava has assisted Asian investors, European clients, including French and Luxembourg investment funds, as well as clients from the USA. She has considerable experience not only in project development, but also in project financing and refinancing, where she advises developers and financial institutions on financings mainly in agreement with the rules of the international Loan Market Association. Those financing projects cover loan agreements, security documents, mortgage deeds and all relevant registrations and procedures.
