Maxim is a Senior Associate in the CMS Sofia Litigation, Arbitration, Insurance and Employment team. He specialises in intellectual property matters.

Maxim has handled prosecution, contentious matters, litigation and enforcement of trademarks, industrial designs, copyright and patents across a number of industries, including the fashion, automotive and chemical industries. Maxim has represented a variety of international clients before the Bulgarian civil and administrative courts. He has also been involved in several administrative procedures and has worked closely with the Bulgarian police and customs authorities on IP infringement disputes. Maxim teaches Intellectual Property Law at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.

Before expanding his expertise in IP while working for a boutique international IP law firm, Maxim worked as a corporate lawyer for several years, handling contractual matters, regulatory procedures, civil and administrative litigation.
