Paola advises banks, financial institutions, investors and corporate clients on a broad range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance and debt capital markets transactions. Her experience also includes drafting and negotiating finance documentation, conducting legal due diligence and advising on financial regulatory matters.

Education
Paola has particular experience advising on renewable energy and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. She has advised on the financing of several utility-scale BESS projects, including a 600 MWh stand-alone BESS project, a 110 MWh BESS portfolio and a 300 MWh BESS extension to a photovoltaic power plant. Her work has included legal due diligence, transaction structuring, drafting and negotiation of finance documentation, and regulatory and permitting analysis.

Paola advises domestic and international clients on corporate and M&A transactions, including legal due diligence, corporate restructurings and general corporate advisory matters. Her experience also includes advising on the regulatory aspects of cross-border acquisitions, coordinating regulatory filings and obtaining regulatory approvals in complex transactions.
