The IPO process from a legal perspective: similarities and differences across markets
(SIX Swiss Exchange, Euronext, London Stock Exchange, Deutsche Börse)
on Tuesday, 29 May 2018, starting at 3:00 pm in our offices at Dreikoenigstrasse 7, 8022 Zurich.
Only a limited number of Swiss companies consider going public on a stock exchange outside of Switzerland, although this could be a viable alternative to raise funds and enlarge the investor base.
Capital markets specialists from CMS in Zurich, London, Paris and Frankfurt will discuss the legal requirements for Swiss small and mid-cap companies intending to conduct an IPO in Switzerland or abroad. Use this unique opportunity to learn about four major European stock exchanges in one place!
We will cover topics such as legal IPO preparation (e.g. whether Swiss companies are required to undergo structural changes when listing abroad), the legal aspects of the IPO process (pre-requisites, listing rules, procedure, documents required, costs, timetable, etc.), important differences across the different markets as well as legal obligations after the IPO.
