CMS advised Bantleon on the acquisition of a majority stake in Credit Suisse Investment Partners AG (now: BANTLEON Convertible Experts AG)

Asset manager Bantleon expanded its bond management portfolio by purchasing a 62% stake in Credit Suisse Investment Partners AG from Credit Suisse and UBS AG in October 2024. The longstanding minority shareholders will keep their 38% stake in the company. Immediately following the transaction, Credit Suisse Investment Partners AG was rebranded as BANTLEON Convertible Experts AG.

A team from CMS Switzerland, led by Stefan Brunnschweiler and Andrea Relly, advised Bantleon on the transaction. The team provided comprehensive support on the contractual, corporate law, regulatory and tax aspects of the deal.
