Zurich – Ametek Inc., a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, has acquired the Swiss company Teseq Holding AG. Teseq Group (consisting of Teseq Holding AG and thirteen affiliates) is a leading manufacturer of test and measurement equipment which operates globally, with sites and offices around the world.
CMS Switzerland advised Ametek Inc. on all aspects of the acquisition. The core team of CMS Switzerland included Oliver Blum (Lead), Christian Gersbach (Employment), Daniel Jenny and Daniel Burkhard (both M&A) as well as Seraina Tsering (Corporate Finance). In the due diligence process, CMS Switzerland was assisted by CMS China (Ulrike Glück), CMS Germany (Heike Wagner) and CMS UK (Barney Hearnden). Global merger control aspects were handled by CMS Germany (Stefan Lehr).
