We are pleased to announce that Louise Lutz Sciamanna, Dr David Hofmann and Dr Fabien Liégeois have been appointed as Counsels, respectively within the Public Law, Tax and Private Clients departments.

Louise Lutz Sciamanna specialises in domestic and cross-border estate and succession planning and advises private clients on wealth planning, prenuptial agreements, wills, inheritance contracts, philanthropy and trusts. She also represents clients in complex inheritance disputes and acts as counsel before Swiss courts. She further advises private clients and entrepreneurs on living wills and powers of attorney for cases of legal incapacity. Louise is a Certified Specialist in Inheritance Law (SBA) and completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at King's College London with a focus on international and comparative inheritance and trust law. She is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences in her field of specialisation.

Dr David Hofmann is a lawyer specialised in civil procedure (e.g. tenancy law, debt collection and attachment of assets, labour law) as well as administrative and public law (e.g. construction law, state and municipal law, civil service law). He is the author of scientific publications, speaks at conferences, teaches at the Law Faculty of the University of Geneva and is a member of the Geneva Bar Examination Commission.

Dr Fabien Liégeois advises businesses (corporate groups, banks and SMEs) and individuals on Swiss and international taxation matters with special focus on restructuring, cross-border transactions and setting up businesses in Switzerland. He also assists individuals who are relocating to Switzerland. In addition, Dr Liégeois regularly defends taxpayers in litigation proceedings regarding tax matters.  Certified tax expert Fabien Liégeois, LL.M. (Chicago Law School), is admitted to the Geneva and New York Bars. A Doctor of Laws, he is the author of numerous publications and speaks regularly at specialised conferences. A member of the Center for Banking and Financial Law at the University of Geneva, he also teaches international taxation for businesses in the LL.M. program at the University of Fribourg.
