Our intellectual property litigation team of seasoned litigators represent a wide range of clients for IP matters in all levels of court including the Court of Final Appeal. We represent clients in a full range of IP disputes including infringement of patent, trade mark, copyright, and registered design rights, as well as anti-counterfeiting, passing-off, breach of confidence, domain name and licence disputes. Our team has established a proven track record in obtaining positive results in their IP litigation matters, and are regularly sought out for complex IP and IP related litigation as well as large scale IP enforcement campaigns in the Greater China region.  

With also extensive knowledge of local regulations and experience, we are well-positioned to help clients deal effectively and creatively with regulatory and compliance issues. In particular, we have extensive experience in advising on all aspects of regulatory compliance and contentious issues involving listed companies and financial intermediaries with regards to investigations, trading suspensions and licensing requirements and their directors with regards to issues of insider dealing and market misconduct. On the litigation aspect, we have handled court proceedings and investigations involving the Securities and Futures Commission, the Commercial Crimes Bureau, the Police and the Independent Commission against Corruption. 

We are regularly involved in seeking interim measures such as Mareva (freezing) injunctions, Anton Piller (search and seizure of evidence) orders and other types of injunction, in support of both Hong Kong and foreign court proceedings as well as arbitrations. Once a judgment or arbitral award is obtained, we also act on enforcement and recovery.
