Digital Regulation Update

Event details
Programme
17 Nov 2026
Europe's digital regulatory framework is evolving. On 27 July 2026, the AI Omnibus entered into force, bringing targeted simplifications to the EU AI Act, including extended timelines for high-risk AI systems, reduced administrative burdens for small and mid-cap companies, and an expanded regulatory sandbox regime.
At the same time, AI systems are becoming increasingly embedded in business operations, and organisations are steadily maturing their compliance strategies, governance frameworks and implementation projects. Yet some aspects of the EU AI Act are still taking shape, leaving organisations to navigate ongoing questions around governance, risk management, compliance responsibilities and operational readiness.
In our webinar, experts from CMS and Capgemini Invent will provide insights into the EU AI Act, including the AI Omnibus and what its entry into force means in practice. Building on experience from AI governance and compliance projects, we will share practical lessons learned, common implementation challenges and best practices for organisations seeking to establish scalable and future-proof AI governance frameworks.
The webinar lasts 60 minutes and is free of charge.
We look forward to your participation.
