Max Joite represents clients in international arbitration (ICC, HKIAC, CIETAC) and litigation proceedings before German state courts, particularly in cases involving Asian parties. His practice covers a variety of contractual claims, including commercial disputes, post-M&A disputes and licence disputes, with industry expertise and experience in pharma/life sciences and international trade.

Max has previous experience in the corporate practice of CMS, advising medium-sized and listed companies on M&A, venture capital transactions, restructurings and corporate actions.

Max is a Registered Foreign Lawyer based in Hong Kong. He joined CMS in 2020
