CMS - one of the top ten international law firms – advised the Italian telecommunications company Tim S.p.A. and its subsidiary Tim Ventures in the definition of an agreement with United Ventures SGR, an independent venture capital manager specialising in investments in digital technologies.
The agreement provides for the establishment of a UV T-Growth fund of approximately EUR 120-150 million to support investments - for a minimum amount of EUR 10 million per target - in digital and telecommunications companies.
Following the agreement, Tim Ventures will strengthen its Venture Capital activities aimed at developing innovative technology projects in Italy and abroad with a particular focus on 5G technology.
Tim S.p.A. and Tim Ventures - through TIM's General Counsel, Lawyer Nuzzolo, and the in-house legal team (in particular Riccardo Pettazzi, Carla Forcina and Giuliano Gimona) - coordinated the CMS team led by Partner Massimo Trentino.
