Imballaggi Fidaleo Rinaldo Srl and FGI Acanfora Spa have announced the formation of an industrial joint venture, with the aim of creating a more competitive operator in the industrial packaging sector. The new company will have an aggregate turnover of approximately €30 million and 140 employees.
As part of the transaction, FGI Acanfora Spa acquired a stake in the share capital of Imballaggi Fidaleo Rinaldo Srl's “Packaging” division.
The international law firm CMS advised Imballaggi Fidaleo Rinaldo Srl on all corporate aspects of the transaction, deploying a team comprising partners Paolo Bonolis and Stefano Giuliano, counsel Danilo Festeggiato, and senior associate Marta Puccini.
FGI Acanfora was assisted by KPMG: Riccardo Di Stefano and Luciano Lombardi, Associate Partners, and Gabriele Girini and Federica Quaglietta, Managers, handled the tax matters; Adriano Gaetani, Partner, and Sara Abbrugia, Manager, provided financial advisory and due diligence services; and Alberto Cirillo, Partner, and Valeria Virzì, Director, provided legal assistance.
