CMS, among the first 10 international law firms, has assisted the Apcoa Group, leader in Europe and Italy in the parking sector, in the implementation of a financing transaction through the issue of senior secured notes for an amount of €685 million.
The proceeds of the notes, that are regulated by the New York law, will be used to partly finance the working capital needs of the Group's companies and partly to refinance the existing indebtedness.
CMS assisted the Group with a multi-jurisdictional team involving, for Italian law aspects, the lawyers Paolo Bonolis and Maria Giovanna Pisani, respectively Partner and Counsel in the Banking & Finance department of CMS Italia, and for the tax aspects the Partner Stefano Chirichigno and the Associate Marta Puccini.
