Alejandro works as an associate at CMS México and focuses his practice on infrastructure projects, project finance, public procurement and administrative law, with particular experience in the road, rail and transportation infrastructure sectors.

 

Throughout his career, Alejandro has advised government entities, private developers and sponsors on the legal structuring, procurement, contracting, financing and implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects across Mexico and Latin America. His experience includes drafting and negotiating project documentation, designing public procurement procedures and advising on the regulatory frameworks applicable to strategic infrastructure projects.

 

He has participated in significant matters, including the legal structuring and implementation of the “Tren Maya” Project; the structuring of procurement procedures for strategic railway projects promoted by the Federal Government; and advising developers throughout public tender processes and the financing of toll road concessions in Mexico. He, also regularly advises public and private clients on government contracting, regulatory compliance, contract administration and the negotiation of complex legal agreements, providing strategic legal counsel throughout all stages of project development.
