Webinar: What EU policy means for hydrogen projects

Past event
10 September 2020, 11:00 - 12:00 UTC +01:00

Has the time come for embracing the role that hydrogen will play in the net-zero future? Governments and policy makers around the world are ramping up efforts to bring forward policies that will facilitate the growth of hydrogen projects and the private sector is racing to develop projects from concepts to reality. Nowhere is this more true that in Europe, where policies have pivoted towards significant hydrogen expansion.

Taking into account the recent legal and policy developments, CMS lawyers from a number of jurisdictions will explore the global hydrogen landscape and will deep dive into the opportunities and issues that hydrogen projects offer for corporates looking to invest in hydrogen projects. In this webinar, we join CMS procurement, competition and energy experts as they present the latest developments in hydrogen projects and consider the common issues and commercial implications related to hydrogen projects. This will include the dos and don’ts regarding the State aid and procurement issues, EU Legislative framework and discuss where the real growth opportunities may lie.

This online event is aimed at investors, sponsors/developers, lenders and advisers actively involved in and considering entering into the hydrogen market.

The session lasts 60 minutes and is held in English. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions in writing during the webinar. Participation is free of charge.
