CMS advised DSW Zorgverzekeraar on the proposed acquisition of Salland Zorgverzekeraar

CMS has advised DSW Zorgverzekeraar on the proposed acquisition of Salland Zorgverzekeraar. Through this transaction, DSW and Salland will continue as a single organisation from 1 January 2028, enabling both insurers to leverage their strong regional positions to help safeguard accessible and affordable healthcare in the future.

Salland's activities will become part of the DSW organisation as of that date. DSW has stated that it will retain the Salland Zorgverzekeringen and HollandZorg brands, Zorgkantoor Midden IJssel and the Salland office in Deventer.

The proposed acquisition involves a transfer of shares from Salland Holding to Onderlinge Waarborgmaatschappij DSW Zorgverzekeraar U.A. and remains subject to approval by the relevant regulatory authorities.
