CMS has advised the Singapore-based stapled trust CDL Hospitality Trusts on the acquisition of a 94.5% interest in the Pullman Hotel Munich and its office and retail components for a consideration of € 98.9 million. The hotel has 337 guest rooms. The interest has been acquired through two Dutch companies which hold the hotel and certain related assets.
This is CDL Hospitality's first hotel acquisition in Germany and its third one in Europe.
The CMS team was headed by Andreas Otto and Gerd Leutner from CMS Berlin. CMS Amsterdam, comprising Roman Tarlavski, Martijn van der Bie, Abbas Ali Hyder and Lisanne van der Velden, advised on the Dutch aspects of the transaction.
