Bas Game is a member of the Banking & Finance practice area group of our firm in Amsterdam. He specialises in insolvency law, with a particular focus on restructuring matters.
Bas advises companies and other stakeholders in insolvency and restructuring situations. His practice includes advising on security interests, creditors’ rights, and (out‑of‑court) restructuring plans, with a specific focus on proceedings under the WHOA. He also advises on a broad range of legal issues arising in complex restructuring processes.
Bas is regularly appointed by the Amsterdam District Court as bankruptcy trustee in insolvency proceedings. He is a member of JIRA (Dutch Young Insolvency Lawyers Association) and the NVvH (Dutch Association for Restructuring). In addition, Bas is a regular contributing author to Rechtspraak Insolventierecht (RI), a Dutch publication providing commentary on insolvency case law.
Bas has been with CMS since 2021.
