Madeleine Lamers is counsel of the Employment, Labour & Pensions practice area group of our firm in Amsterdam.

Madeleine has worked in employment law for more than 30 years. She advises (large) companies in all kinds of areas, including individual dismissal law, but she also has extensive experience with major reorganisations, collective dismissals and the associated employee participation processes.

Madeleine also has extensive experience in proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal in relation to employee participation. She also frequently advises on the position of the director under the articles of association, where she has extensive experience on both the entrepreneur's and the director's side. She regularly advises senior management on various employment law matters and is highly specialised in the WNT. 

In addition, she advises on collective bargaining issues, pensions and transfer of undertaking.

For some years now, she has also been active as an MfN registered mediator.
