Ann Helen Aambakk works in CMS Kluge’s Department for engery, industry and climate. She generally works with company law, petroleum law and onshore- and offshore contracts.
Aambakk has gained broad experience within general contract law, both for companies and contractors. Her work particularly involves qualifying and reviewing contractual terms and conditions, negotiations and handling of claims, as well as drafting more customized contract templates for clients.
During her studies Aambakk specialized in petroleum law and contract law, including the Norwegian standard contracts NF, NTK and NS. Her master thesis was within petroleum law and deliberated the requirement for financial security within a licence group when removing an offshore component. The thesis compared Norwegian regulation to the UK Decommissioning Security Agreements.
