Elin works within EU/EEA law, primarily handling issues related to public procurement and state aid. She has assisted numerous clients in preparing and executing procurements, managing contract compliance, and resolving disputes.
Having worked for three years in the Competition and State Aid Directorate of the EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA), Elin has dealt with both complaint cases and notification cases. Combined with her prior experience at the EFTA Secretariat in Brussels this has provided her with a unique understanding of EEA law.
Elin also has experience from the public sector, previously working as an advisor in the Competition Policy Department, Section for public procurement, at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries. Her responsibilities included regulatory work, providing guidance on the procurement regulations, handling processes with ESA and assessing cases with potential impact on EU jurisprudence.
Furthermore, Elin has served as a student intern at Norway's permanent mission to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva.
