Hans Ingvald Stensholdt

Hans Ingvald works in particular with assignments in the area of company law, restructuring and insolvency. In addition he has considerable experience with litigation assignments before Norwegian courts and was admitted to the Norwegian Supreme Court in 2016. Stensholdt assists clients in a number of matters with international nature. He has been ranked in Chambers within restructuring/insolvency since 2013 and also in Legal500 the recent years. 

Stensholdt has more than 15 years of experience as a lawyer from Thommessen, DNV GL and Kluge. During his period as a lawyer, he has provided ongoing legal and strategic advice to financial institutions, companies and shareholders/owners with regard to financial and operational challenges, with emphasis on assessments of structural and actual changes to the company’s operations in order to secure a basis for continued operations, or alternatively to secure assets. Stensholdt also assists companies, boards of directors and shareholders with ongoing advisory services in breach of contract situations, with emphasis on the scope of action and liability of the board of directors.

Stensholdt also has expertise and experience in monetary claim law and guarantee law, whereby he assists financial institutions and companies on an ongoing basis through advisory services and litigation.
