Lars Albert Jøstensen

Lars Albert Jøstensen mainly focuses on insurance, reinsurance, action for damages and dispute resolution. He also has extensive domestic, arbitration and international dispute resolution experience with commercial contracts in a number of industry sectors.

Jøstensen has extensive experience with respect to complex claims and disputes under insurance policies and reinsurance contracts. He frequently assists in handling cyber incidents ("breach response") and coverage claims under cyber insurance policies and also has particular experience in relation to director and officers' claims (D&O), financial lines and W&I insurance matters. 

Jøstensen has worked in the London market and assists international insurers and claims handling companies on the development of policy wordings in the Norwegian market. 

Jøstensen is ranked as a Rising Start in Insurance by the Legal 500 and has also been ranked in the “up and coming insurance lawyer” category in a peer’s review arranged by the Norwegian Financial Times (“Finansavisen”) for three consecutive years running.
