Lars-Emil Karlsen works in CMS Kluge's corporate department. He assists Norwegian and international clients in a wide range of matters.

Lars-Emil holds a master's degree from the University of Bergen. He wrote his master's thesis entitled: "Profit-based resource rent tax or cash flow tax; how should the resource rent tax in the Norwegian Tax Act § 18-3 be designed to have the most neutral impact on investment decisions in the hydropower industry".

Karlsen also holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing from the Norwegian School of Economics (Norges Handelshøyskole).
