Payment gridlocks

Companies in Poland are closely monitored by regulators in relation to the payment terms they use in B2B transactions. Large companies are under especially intense scrutiny. We work closely with the clients’ legal, sales and finance teams to help them structure the cooperation with their suppliers and negotiate the agreements with their clients in line with the current approach of the relevant enforcement authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów). We also represent clients in regulatory proceedings, with a view to verifying compliance with the relevant legislation.
