CMS has advised Medicover, an international healthcare and diagnostic service provider listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, on the acquisition of CityFit, one of the leading operators of fitness clubs in Poland.
CityFit operates a chain of 26 clubs across 13 major cities in Poland, including five in Warsaw. With this transaction, CityFit’s portfolio will be added to Medicover’s existing network that now totals over 170 fitness clubs in Poland.
The transaction is one of the largest transactions in the Polish wellness sector in recent years and strengthens Medicover’s position in the rapidly growing sports market.
