Dominik Rafałko is a qualified attorney-at-law and a partner in the Real Estate and Construction Department at CMS.
He specialises in real estate, corporate and civil law matters. Dominik has provided transactional advice in the real estate market for over 15 years, in particular in the purchase and sale of office, logistics, and commercial facilities, as well as holding companies operating in the real estate market.

He also assists local and foreign entities in development and investment processes, including PPP. Dominik has represented real estate owners in court disputes. 

His experience encompasses legal due diligence of real estate, companies and assets, development process and negotiation of leasing agreements for lessors and lessees, as well as providing ongoing legal advice in the area of commercial, economic and civil law.

He has also advised on acquisition financing and provided comprehensive advice on a variety of environmental legal problems related to real estate transactions. 

Before joining CMS, he was a local partner in the law firm Greenberg Traurig, and before that gained experience in the real estate department of the international law firm Salans (Dentons).

  • The Blackstone Group on the EUR 12.25bn sale of Logicor to China Investment Corporation (CIC); provided legal advice and coordinated the transaction with respect to Logicor’s properties in Poland.
  • Kravco and a group of Polish investors on the EUR 100m sale of Galeria Młociny in Warsaw to EPP/Echo Investment.
  • The Blackstone Group on the purchase of a portfolio of 14 logistics properties from Panattoni/Standard Life and Panattoni /Pramerica, with a total area of 500,000 sq. m..
  • The Blackstone Group on the EUR 222.5m acquisition of the Legnicka Development (the owner of Magnolia Park Shopping Centre in Wrocław) from NFI Octava and Manchester Securities Corporation investment funds (named Investment Deal of the Year, CEE 2011 by Eurobuild).
