Karol Jaworecki, an attorney-at-law, is a senior associate in the Energy and Infrastructure Practice at CMS Poland. He specialises in complex investments in industrial installations, focusing on the energy sector. His expertise covers regulatory and transactional matters, guiding clients through the investment lifecycle. 

Karol provides strategic counsel on administrative permitting proceedings, including litigation support, and negotiates construction and maintenance contracts for power generation assets. He has extensive experience advising domestic and international investors on renewable energy projects, particularly onshore and offshore wind, as well as PV and battery energy storage systems. He also supports clients in gas sector investments.

Karol assists clients in securing capacity support through market auctions, RES auctions, and cogeneration mechanisms, and handles regulatory disputes with governmental authorities. He is adept at obtaining grid connection conditions for generating units and structuring agreements for the offshore and onshore RES sectors.

Additionally, Karol has expertise in environmental law, helping clients secure essential administrative approvals and mitigate liability risks related to regulatory compliance. His advisory work spans the energy, gas, chemical, and waste management industries, ensuring clients operate within the evolving regulatory landscape.
