Magdalena is an attorney-at-law and Associate in the Real Estate and Construction Department at CMS in Poland.

She has over eight years’ experience in providing legal services and advising companies in the real estate sector, as well as in the construction and infrastructure sectors (road and rail infrastructure). 

Her experience includes the preparation of transaction documentation and participation in due diligence processes, in particular for warehouse, office, and hotel sector assets.

She provides ongoing contractual advice to Polish and foreign general contractors, investors and lessors. Her advice covers projects carried out in various formulas, both on the private market and in public procurement (including the build and design and build formula).

Magdalena’s experience and practice areas also include litigation advice and representing Polish and foreign clients (including investors and general contractors) - in infrastructure and construction disputes concerning, among others, claims for remuneration adjustments arising from unforeseeable market fluctuations, liquidated damages, additional and substitute works, claims based on the rebus sic stantibus clause. She also represents clients in disputes arising from lease agreements.

Magdalena further specialises in corporate crime, including representing clients in proceedings (investigations and court proceedings) regarding corporate crime, and participates in the development of procedural strategy and prepares pleadings.
