On 1 November 2021, the new PRC Personal Information Protection Law will come into effect. This is China's first omnibus personal data protection law, much like the GDPR.

This new law will apply both to companies operating within China but also has an extra-territorial reach and is likely to affect a wide range of foreign-based companies.

We will be hosting a webinar which will explore in detail the implications of the new PRC Personal Information Protection Law for international companies operating both within and outside of China. Our experts on the ground will help you understand the key features of the new law and its implications for your business.

We will also be joined by colleagues from across the Asia-Pacific region who will provide their insight on the impact this new law will have on the data protection landscape within Asia-Pacific.

We hope you will be able to join us.
