The law, and the work of lawyers, should enable countries, communities and companies to deliver the changes needed to achieve the UN SDGs and the Paris Agreement.
As COP28 urges us to unite, act and deliver, Advocates for International Development (A4ID) has collaborated with international firms CMS, Accenture, Clifford Chance, Kirkland & Ellis and Linklaters to bring you two panel discussions on how the legal profession can support the achievement of the UN SDGs and make the energy transition a just transition for the benefit of societies as a whole.
Our speakers are working within their organisations, sectors and communities to drive the change needed to reduce the negative impact of climate change. With a mix of individuals from all aspects of the legal profession, we look forward to a lively discussion about how we can work in partnership and provide the framework in which we will see change happen.
