Magnus Forssman is a partner in CMS Wistrand’s practice group Corporate/M&A and specializes in M&A, IT & Telecoms and commercial agreements, with a particular focus on W&I insurance matters. With over 20 years of experience, he has extensive experience in advising as a transaction advisor on both domestic and cross-border corporate transactions and investments as well as in-depth experience in advising clients on outsourcing projects, procurement of IT systems and communications solutions as well as e-commerce projects. He further has extensive experience in all aspects of W&I insurance including regulatory/policy matters, underwriting and claims handling.
Magnus Forssman has notably advised most W&I providers on the Scandinavian market on insurance cover for high value transactions involving a very wide range of different business areas. He also represents a broad range of clients within the IT and tech markets, with a special focus on large IT suppliers and international high tech manufacturing companies.
He has a long history of advising founders and industrial buyers in M&A transactions.
Magnus Forssman is the author of the leading Swedish literature on M&A which is used in university courses both in law and economics in most Swedish leading universities.
