CMS Wistrand has advised Wienerberger AG, listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, and its Swedish subsidiary Pipelife Sverige AB on the acquisition of Skandinavisk Kommunalteknik AB, FANN VA-Teknik AB and Alunda Polyeten AB. The sellers comprised Northern Environmental and Water Solutions AB and a consortium of indirect sellers, with private equity firm Litorina as the majority shareholder.
Wienerberger is an international group and a leading provider of building materials and infrastructure solutions. Through its Pipelife division, the group provides piping system solutions for water and energy management, with a particular focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.
The transaction involved operations in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Poland, with CMS Wistrand acting as lead counsel and coordinating the cross‑border legal work across the jurisdictions involved.
