Zurich, Schaeffler Schweiz GmbH, headquartered in Romanshorn, a fully owned subsidiary of Schaeffler AG, sells its fine-blanking business to the Swiss Guentensperger Group.
The fine-blanking business of Schaeffler generated revenues of approx. CHF 50 million in the previous business year. All of the about 170 employees working for the fine-blanking business shall transfer to the buyer. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2017.
