CMS Belgium is pleased to announce the arrival of Geoffroy Galéa as Partner in its Tax practice, effective 1 April 2026, together with his team.
Geoffroy Galéa is recognised for advising on complex and high-value tax matters, including cross-border M&A, transfer pricing, tax structuring, real estate tax and tax litigation. Over the past years, he has built and developed one of the most dynamic and fast-growing tax practices in the Belgian market, known for its technical excellence and its ability to handle sophisticated, high-stakes matters.
He is joined by a well-established and high-performing team, including Stefanie Hardy (Senior Associate), Alain Thilmany (Senior Associate), Cassandre Guéry (Associate), Margaux Cauchie (Junior Associate), Théo Grüter (Junior Associate) and Danielle O’Mahony (Personal Assistant). Together, they bring a strong track record of delivering high-quality, pragmatic and business-oriented tax advice to clients across a wide range of sectors, including private equity, technology, real estate and life sciences.
This arrival marks an important step in the continued development of CMS Belgium’s tax practice. By combining an already strong and recognised team with CMS’s international platform, the ambition is to further strengthen the practice and position it among the leading tax teams in Belgium.
In this context, Geoffroy Galéa will lead the further development and structuring of the tax practice in Belgium, working closely with partners Stéphanie Houx and Tim Wustenberghs.
