Aurélie works on all aspects of real estate law, including in particular acquisitions and sales of buildings or real estate companies, the financing of real estate projects, and the various types of occupancy agreements (leases, rights in rem, concessions, precarious occupancy, etc.).
In these areas, Aurélie assists a wide range of national and international, public and private clients throughout their transactions (advice, negotiation, drafting of agreements and, when necessary, litigation).
Aurélie also has a keen interest in the law of obligations and company law, especially as it relates to real estate law.
Aurélie joined CMS's Real Estate & Construction department in February 2024, after initial experience in the Corporate/Banking & Finance department of an international law firm.
After obtaining a trilingual bachelor's degree in law (French-Dutch-English) at the Université Saint-Louis in Brussels, Aurélie decided to continue her studies at the KU Leuven, where she obtained a master's degree in economic and private law.
Aurélie deals with cases in French, Dutch and English. She also has a good knowledge of German.
