The Whistleblowing Directive entered into force on 16 December 2019 and must be implemented by EU member states by 17 December 2021.

Although Belgium and many of the other EU Member States alike are far from ready to meet that deadline, the date of 17 December 2021 will still be relevant taking into account the vertical effect of EU Directives.

Watch the recording of our webinar, organised together with Euronext Corporate Services, in which we summarise the key takeaways from the Whistleblowing Directive for Belgian legal entities active in the private sector, all subject to the final legislative texts implementing the Whistleblower Directive into Belgian law.
