Frankfurt am Main - The Detmold based Ecclesia Group becomes majority shareholder of the Schunck Group, a Europe-wide operating specialist broker for the logistics industry. The Ecclesia Group plans to further expand the leading market position of the Schunck Group in Germany.
A CMS team led by partner Dr. Heike Wagner comprehensively advised Ecclesia during the contract negotiations and the legal due diligence. CMS regularly advises Ecclesia. Most recently in the takeover of the Swiss City Versicherungs-Kundendienst AG and City Beratungs-AG by Kessler & Co AG.
The Ecclesia Group, headquartered in Detmold, is regarded as the largest German insurance broker for companies and institutions, with around 1750 employees and an annual turnover of around 235 million Euro.
