Sustainability is also about social responsibility with regard to promoting diversity, equality and fair working conditions. Personal commitment is crucial here.
CMS accepts this responsibility. The fundamental principle of sustainability is embedded in our philosophy as a leading international commercial law firm. We aim to help shape a sustainable future by delivering innovative legal advice. Accordingly, ESG consulting is playing an increasingly important role. Sustainability aspects also influence our culture as a law firm and our management style. Responsible use of resources, sustainable procurement and active support for diversity in our teams are all part of this.
We create transparency and credibility through regular reporting, and published our first Sustainability Report in 2022. It describes the areas where we already fulfil sustainability criteria, along with the goals we have set ourselves for the coming years.
