Professional development for legal excellence
The CMS Academy offers our lawyers a comprehensive and strategically structured programme comprising professional and personal development modules. The overview below provides a brief insight into the diverse programme you will undertake on your journey to becoming a lawyer equipped for the future.
Our onboarding days welcome you to CMS. You’ll get to know our firm and our Business Services teams, and have the chance to network with colleagues from other offices and business divisions.
You will meet regularly with around 100 colleagues from various offices, practice groups and levels of experience. In a relaxed atmosphere, you will take part in tailored training sessions and, above all, make the most of the opportunity to exchange ideas. This fosters cross-office networks and lasting relationships.
Mentoring is a key component of your development at CMS. Your mentors will support you on your career path through regular feedback sessions and foster your personal development.
The Core Curriculum is the CMS Academy’s international training programme, where you can enjoy high-quality English-language training alongside colleagues from all CMS offices worldwide and expand your network.
Our Profile Training for Senior Associates is an intensive and needs-based consultancy service for individual career development. In small groups, you will discuss your professional profile and work with coaches to refine your presentation skills.
Through individually tailored business coaching, we support experienced lawyers in the targeted development of their personal impact, leadership skills and professional performance.
