Hamburg – Phoenix Solar AG, a leading international photovoltaic system integrator, has been commissioned by Paris-based Akuo Energy as EPC contractor to build two solar power plants in France, each with a peak capacity of just under 12 MW.

A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by lead partner Dr Holger Kraft provided Phoenix Solar AG with comprehensive legal advice during contract negotiations for its largest foreign contract so far.

The two solar parks will generate around 36 million kilowatt hours of green electricity per year. Work on the power plants is scheduled to start in the summer. Completion has been scheduled for the end of the year and grid connection is due in 2012.
